Empowering California Emergent Bilingual Students to Thrive

While nearly 20% of California students are Emergent Bilinguals, more than half of the state’s teachers report their materials do not adequately support tailoring instruction for these students.

Teachers can accelerate learning with Lexia® English Language Development™, an adaptive blended learning program that supports English language acquisition through academic conversations for students in grades K–6. Emergent Bilingual students get speaking, listening, and grammar practice—in math, science, social studies, general knowledge, and biographies—to improve their academic success.
