Lexia National Live Online Professional Learning Sessions

Lexia Learning’s National Live Online sessions offer educators the opportunity to experience relevant, engaging professional learning in a virtual setting. With the guidance of an expert facilitator, educators will explore various topics related to Lexia’s fundamental product features, adaptive blended learning model, and best practices for effective classroom implementation.

In order to allow for a more personalized experience, the number of attendees during these sessions will be capped. Following each professional learning session, participants will be provided with a self-paced Nearpod toolkit to support continuous learning and promote engagement with the resources shared during the sessions. The descriptions below highlight the various sessions available to educators during the school year.

Lexia® Core5® Reading (Grades PK-5)

Getting Started with Lexia® Core5® Reading

Objectives: This professional learning session will prepare educators to:

  • Support effective student usage of the Core5 program
  • Review student data in myLexia and leverage Lexia’s instructional resources
  • Identify opportunities for ongoing professional learning

Time Frame: 60 minutes

Audience: Educators and/or administrators who are new to using Core5
Adaptive Blended Learning with Lexia® Core5® Reading

Objectives: This professional learning session will prepare educators to:

  • Consider how an adaptive blended learning model aligns to the current learning environment
  • Integrate Lexia's instructional resources as part of a learning plan
  • Foster a growth mindset with students through targeted goal-setting

Time Frame: 60 minutes

Audience: Educators and/or administrators who are new to using Core5

Suggested Prerequisite(s): Getting Started with Lexia® Core5® Reading
Implementing Lexia® Core5® Reading in Any Learning Environment

Objectives: This professional learning session will prepare educators to:

  • Identify instructional resources that can be adapted to various learning environments
  • Review implementation scenarios for Core5
  • Create an action plan for implementing Core5

Time Frame: 60 minutes

Audience: Educators and/or administrators who are new to using Core5

Suggested Prerequisite(s): Getting Started with Lexia® Core5® Reading
Rostering and Data Maintenance with Lexia® Products

Objectives: This professional learning session will prepare educators to:

  • Integrate best practices for student data collection during the school year
  • Manage rostering and provisioning to ensure a smooth back-to-school transition
  • Identify additional tools and resources to support successful data management
Time Frame: 60 minutes

Audience: Educators and/or administrators who manage student data in myLexia

Lexia® PowerUp Literacy®(Grades 6-12)

Getting Started with Lexia® PowerUp Literacy®

Objectives: This professional learning session will prepare educators to:

  • Support effective student usage of the PowerUp program
  • Review student data in myLexia and leverage Lexia’s instructional resources
  • Identify opportunities for ongoing professional learning

Time Frame: 60 minutes

Audience: Educators and/or administrators who are new to using PowerUp
